Monday Enlightenment: September’s Birth Flower
Did you know that September has a birth flower? Yeah, nor did I! According to the Old Famer’s Almanac, September’s birth flower’s are The Morning Glory and The Aster.
The Morning Glory:
If you’re an early riser you may be able to see their full, bloom beauty; but by afternoon the flower closes back up. Morning Glorys are simple symbols of affection.

Mainly symbols of powerful love, Asters were once used to ward off serpents. Asters sound like the perfect fall flower, requiring minimal care.
Wow, aren’t these flowers just beautiful? These would make an absolutely beautiful pop of color to any yard or front porch.
